Biography

Fordham University

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (NY license number R077035) with the "R" psychotherapy privilege which designates advanced training and experience specifically in providing psychotherapy and distinguishes my expertise in supervising other clinicians in their practice development. I am also licensed in New Jersey (44SC05975100) and Colorado (09924263). I have been in practice since 2006 and opened The Keely Group in 2016 when I began splitting time between Colorado and New York and realized how effective virtual therapy is for the highly ambitious (and exceedingly BUSY!) patients who resonate with my practice. Since then, I have developed a private, boutique online therapy practice where I closely supervise outstanding, experienced clinicians who specialize in helping dynamic, intelligent, driven people to develop stronger, more sustainable personal connections and agency to live lives they love.

I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Government, minor in English Literature, from Smith College. I completed my master's degree in clinical social work at New York University and pursued an additional master's degree in psychoanalysis at the New York Graduate School of Psychoanalysis. I have advanced post-graduate clinical training from NYU, the Center for Modern Psychoanalytic Studies, the Ackerman Institute for the Family, the Center for Group Studies, and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine. I completed an advanced, Level II Certification from the Telebehavioral Health Institute, an industry leader in continuing education for online/virtual psychotherapy. I am an adjunct professor at Fordham University’s Graduate School of Social Service. I am the former Clinical Supervisor for the NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital affiliated Community Healthcare Network’s Behavioral Health Program and former faculty at Colorado School of Mines, a top-ranked engineering university in Golden, Colorado. I have been in practice since 2006 and opened The Keely Group in 2016.
