Biography
Stockholm School of Economics
Professor Berglof is the Director of the Institute of Global Affairs (IGA) at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). The IGA brings together several regional and some thematic research centres in order to increase the impact of research, policy thinking and teaching at the LSE.
Prior to the LSE, he was the Chief Economist and Special Adviser to the President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). Professor Berglof also previously held the position of Director of the Stockholm Institute of Transition Economics (SITE) and Professor at the Stockholm School of Economics.
