Biography

Bristol Business School

About me Prior to completing masters and PhD studies at Warwick Business School, I read economics as well as law. My work experience revolves around private and public sector. The combination of my studies, work experience and personal interest has led me to pay particular interest issues around public policy, a focus that was considered in my PhD studies. My main interest area of research is based on public sector, particularly critically evaluating the power dynamics of the New Public Management Policy in the education sector, an important area of research where the government spending is increasing year by year and it has a direct impact on our day to day lives.

Area of expertise My research interest sits under critical organisation studies and I am especially interested in scrutinising public policy, strategic change, managing change, power dynamics and politics of organisational spaces, aesthetics, visual methodology, ambivalence, ambiguity and formation of occupational identity.
