Professor Elliott Smith is a full-time lecturer and assistant chairperson of the Finance Department. He came to Boston College in 1987 as a part-time lecturer for the graduate programs, and joined the full-time faculty in 1997. He teaches coursework in basic finance, financial management and financial policy at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Professor Smith is a Certified Public Accountant. Prior to joining the full-time faculty, he founded and served as CEO of one of the country''s largest privately owned chain of fashion jewelry stores.
