About Me
Since 2013, Elizabeth Keohane-Burbridge, PhD has been the producer of and contributor for Footnoting History (https://www.footnotinghistory.com/), a popular history podcast that boasts nearly 3 million downloads and over 5,000 subscribers. Elizabeth earned her doctorate in medieval history on late medieval English Convocation from Fordham University in 2016 and her work has been published in Medieval Prosopography and Nursing Clio. She has also presented at multiple conferences about her personal research interests (such as International Medieval Congress, the North American Conference on British Studies, the International Congress on Medieval Studies, Kings and Queens, and After Chichele at Oxford University) as well as on podcasting (including presentations at the Rocky Mountain Medieval and Renaissance Association, the Berkshire Conference of Women Historians, STLinATL, and Sound Education). She is the co-editor of Independent Scholars Meet World, a collection of essays on independent scholarship, that was published by the University Press of Kansas in Fall 2020. Elizabeth teaches history at Woodward Academy, an independent school in College Park, GA, where she is also club advisor for WA Eagle Exchange, the school’s podcast club, and Intersectional Feminism.
