Biography

IE Business School

Born and raised in Portugal, I grew up fascinated with learning about other countries, cultures and ways of living. Very early on in my career I was interested about information systems, data and technology overall. Back in 2007, I joined Google in Ireland. Since then I lived and worked also in France and the US, and have moved with my family to Switzerland. These almost twelve years with Google have taught me how technology and data are transforming people’s lives — I love being part of it.

In addition to my business responsibilities at Google, I am a executive certified coach for leaders in the company and have started to lecture to MBA students in June 2017. Because technology is a constant in my life, I co-authored an article on cybersecurity titled “To Improve Cybersecurity, Think Like a Hacker”. It was published by MIT Sloan Management Review during Spring of 2017.
