Elena García-Mascaraque is the new Global Director of Security Service Providers for WatchGuard-Cytomic. She will report directly to Miguel Carrero, global vice president of the newly created security service providers and strategic accounts unit. With this appointment, the company intends to strengthen its team to promote the growth of the company both in Iberia and internationally. García-Mascaraque will be responsible for strengthening relationships with security service providers , including managed service providers (MSP), managed security service providers (MSSP) or managed detection and response (MDR), among others Among its tasks, it will provide security service providers with the knowledge and technical, consulting and commercial capabilities so that they can offer the most adapted cybersecurity proposals to their clients. With more than 20 years of experience in senior management, business management and sales positions, Garcia-Mascaraque, prior to joining WatchGuard, held the position of Principal Consultant and Director at Quint Consulting. From his extensive resume we can highlight his time at HP, where he developed his talent occupying different positions of responsibility. She has been a member of FEDEPE (Federation of Women Entrepreneurs and Entrepreneurs) and WIN (Women International Network). In addition, she participates as an associate in EJE & CON within the Technology and CMO Forums. And she is an associate professor at Instituto Empresa.
