Nanyang Technological University Centre for Professional and Continuing Education
EePing Neo is an educator-entrepreneur who is passionate about empowering our future generations with best-of-breed learning opportunities. He is founder of Kidsglobal – a Singapore-based children’s education company that operates bilingual preschools in Hangzhou and Shanghai (China).
In 2018, he co-founded IDE Academy and Hangzhou IDE Education Consulting to promote invention education in both Singapore and China. He firmly believes that inventiveness, entrepreneurial thinking and cross-cultural collaboration are essential skills for the future and the STEMIE® approach provides a unique problem-solving approach that develops transdisciplinary skills including application of STEM, design thinking and project management.
He is also a founding committee member of Invent Future Global – a coalition of global invention education providers that organizes collaborative online invention education workshops and conference for students from the US, China, Canada, UK, Chile and Indonesia.
EePing began his career in Business & IT consulting and spent 15 years in various roles, mostly providing business intelligence and systems consulting to clients across various industries. He served as an exco member for the Singapore Enterprise Chapter of SITF (now SGTech). He has also served as the chief representative of Hangzhou Center in Singapore and has worked with various government agencies and trade associations to foster trade and economic collaboration between Singapore and Hangzhou. Since 2015, he has been actively involved in sharing his experiences in China with visiting students from Singapore at the National University of Singapore Research Institute in Suzhou.
