Alliance Manchester Business School

Biography

I am a lecturer in the division of People, Management and Organisations, in the subject group Organisation and Society.

Having completed a degree in Social and Political Sciences at the University of Cambridge (1997-2000) I spent time working in TV production, hospitality, manufacturing industry and in education in the UK and abroad. Between 2002 and 2003 I did an MA in Russian and East European Studies at the University of Birmingham, and then a PhD at the University of Salford.

My PhD, entitled Critical Social Theory and the End of Work was completed in 2007. I have worked at Alliance Manchester Business School since 2009, first as a researcher and then since 2011 as a lecturer. During this time I have taught various courses and I am currently co-convenor for International Business Analysis (year 3), convenor for Ethical Business (year 2) and convenor for Research Skills for Business and Management (MSc).
