Eduard Talamàs joined IESE Business School as an Assistant Professor of Economics in 2019. He obtained his Ph.D. in economics at Harvard University under the supervision of Benjamin Golub. Before joining IESE, he was a Warren Center postdoctoral fellow at the University of Pennsylvania, hosted by Rakesh Vohra. In the Autumn of 2020, Eduard was a Research Associate in The Cambridge Institute of New Economic Thinking, hosted by Matthew Elliott.

Eduard studies strategic interactions in matching markets and economic networks, with a focus on investment, bargaining and organizational structure. His research has been published in Games and Economic Behavior and Cambridge University Press, and it has been funded by Fundación Ramón Areces, “La Caixa” Foundation, The Foundations of Human Behavior Initiative and The Rockefeller Foundation.

Eduard teaches economics in IESE’s doctoral, MBA and Executive MBA programs. Eduard is a Research Affiliate at the Centre for Economic Policy Research, and Chief Strategy Officer at PLAY Activewear.
