Dr. Luc is a partner and senior advisor of Pivot. An internationally recognized author and speaker on the topic of shared and collaborative leadership, she specializes in the development and implementation of collaborative culture and strategies that drive business transformations and improve organizational performance.
With more than 25 years of experience, Edith specializes in organizational assessment and development, executive selection and education, leadership development and the creation of collaborative working practices and culture. She works with executive, operational, functional and project teams to improve their effectiveness and accelerate change by improving the overall maturity level of their collaboration. She has worked with a wide variety of leading national and international organizations in different industries, such as Bombardier, Chanel, Danone, Desjardins, École Polytechnique, Hydro-Quebec, Michelin, Orange, RioTinto-Alcan and Zimmer.
Dr. Luc has published four books, many editorials and numerous articles on leadership, including Le leadership partagé (2004, 2011, PUM), La pratique du leadership partagé (2013, PUM) and Unleashing Leadership Potential (2009). Her fifth book is due out in spring 2015.
Edith has a PhD in social psychology from the Université de Montréal. She is a former associate professor at HEC Montréal’s Chaire de leadership Pierre-Péladeau. She has served as President of the Collège de Montreal and has taught at the Université de Montreal, the Université de Sherbrooke and the University of Ottawa.
