Biography

I work as associate professor in the Department of Management and Organization, in the School of Business and Economics of the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. I'm director of the VU Sustainability Leadership Hub, a center for sustainability education and advocacy.

I obtained my Master’s degree in sociology (with a specialization in Change Management) at the Eötvös Lóránt University in Budapest, Hungary, and my PhD (2016) in work psychology at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, in Belgium. I have obtained diverse organizational experience both in and outside academia, having worked at the Prime Minister’s Office in Hungary, at the European Commission, at the Centre for Creative Leadership, and at Notre Europe, the think tank of former President of the European Commission, Jacques Delors.

Research

My main research interests are sustainability leadership; critical perspectives on leadership; (the psychology of) inequalities in organizations; gender, diversity and power relations at the workplace; systems thinking & the sustainability transition in organizations.

Teaching

I teach courses on leadership, diversity in organizations and business ethics (applied to leadership and change management).
