Biography

School of Continuing Studies

Eden Savino has more than a decade’s experience investigating and reporting on federal programs for the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO). She is well versed in qualitative and quantitative analyses, legislative research and monitoring, and how to clearly communicate these results and findings. With this experience, she made the leap to public affairs and now helps the agency engage online audiences through social media and other efforts. She leads several web analytics projects for the agency and coaches staff on how to use and get the most out of Google Analytics.

In addition to teaching at CCPE, she is adjunct faculty at GAO’s Learning Center, where she regularly teaches colleagues about social media trends and how to write for online audiences. She has a Master’s in Public Policy (MPP) and Certificate in Health Policy from Johns Hopkins University, and a BA from Connecticut College. She has also been awarded both a Thomas J. Watson Fellowship and the Alexander von Humboldt German Chancellor Fellowship.
