Donghan Feng is an Associate Professor of Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) and serves as the Deputy Director of State Energy Smart Grid R&D Center of China. He received B.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees both in Zhejiang University. He is the receiver of Hans Christened Ørsted Award of Danmarks Tekniske Universitet and SMC-Morningstar Excellent Young Faculty Award of SJTU. He serves as the reviewer of IEEE Trans. Power Systems, IEEE Trans. Smart Grids among ten other academic journals.
Donghan Feng has been with the faculty of Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) since 2008. Currently, he holds the position of Associate Professor. He also serves as the Deputy Director of the State Energy Smart Grid R&D Center. Dr. Feng received his B.Sc. and Ph.D. degree both in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Zhejiang University (ZJU) in 2003 and 2008, respectively. He worked at Tsinghua University (THU) as a graduate research assistant during 2005-2006 and worked at University of Hong Kong (HKU) as a visiting scholar during 2006-2007. Since 2009, he has been granted the Hans Christened Ørsted Funding for collaborative research with the Centre for Electric Technology, Technical University of Denmark (DTU). His research work is also supported by the SMC-Morningstar Excellent Young Faculty Program of Shanghai Jiao Tong University since 2013. He is the principal investigator of several national and continental projects. His research is supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), Danish Energy Association (DEA), Ministry of Education of China (MOE), Ministry of Science and Technology of China (MOST), the Seventh Framework Programme for Research (FP7) of European Commission, etc. He serves as funding evaluator of Netherlands Organization for Scientific Research (NWO), Dutch Technology Foundation (STW) and National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC). He serves as reviewer of IEEE Transactions on Power Systems (ISSN: 0885-8950), IEEE Transactions on Smart Grid (ISSN: 1949-3053), Renewable & Sustainable Energy Reviews (ISSN: 1364-0321) , Applied Energy (ISSN: 0306-2619) , International Journal of Electrical Power & Energy Systems (ISSN: 0142-0615), European Transactions on Electrical Power (ISSN: 1430-144X), Electric Power Components and Systems (ISSN: 1532-5008), Automation of Electric Power Systems电力系统自动化 (EI, ISSN: 1000-1026) an Power Systems Technology电网技术(EI, ISSN: 1000-3673). His research interests are market operation of smart grid and smart energy networks.
