Bio
Don is an Adjunct Professor of Finance and Chair Emeritus of the International Centre for Pension Management at Rotman. He is currently Chief Investment Strategist at the Qatar Investment Authority and an advisor to the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). Prior to that, he served for 12½ years on the senior management team of the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB), as its first head of Public Markets and Chief Investment Strategist. Prior to joining CPPIB, Don worked for Goldman Sachs in New York and Schlumberger in China. He has also served as Chair of the Board of Trustees and Chair of the Investment Committee of Queen's University and on the Board of Directors and Chair of the Investment Committee of Great-West LifeCo. He holds a PhD in engineering from Queen's University, specializing in nonlinear systems.

Don teaches RSM 4323 "Investments" in the Masters of Finance Program with Professor Peter Christoffersen. He is Chair Emeritus of the International Centre for Pension Management at Rotman and Chair of the Board of Trustees of Queen's University and past Chair of the Investment Committee. He is also on the Investment and Risk Advisory Panel of the Monetary Authority of Singapore and a Director of Great-West Lifeco.
