He previously taught undergraduate software development at the School of Computing, National University of Singapore (“NUS”) and post-graduate courses at the Institute of Systems Science, NUS

Derek has over 20 years of experience as Expert Witness for IT-related investigations and legal proceedings.

Derek is an appointed member of the Infocomm Media Development Authority’s Critical Infocomm Technology Resource Programme PLUS (CITREP+) Skills Expert Panel, Security and Software & Applications domains.
