Center for Technology and Management Education

Dennis Schwarz leads business pursuits for Advanced Tactical Systems at The Boeing Company. At The Boeing Company, he has been director of systems engineering for the C-17 program, director of product processes and tools for Air Force Systems and director of technical and functional processes for advanced systems. Recent responsibilities include network systems and system of systems. He has held assignments spanning the product life cycle including parts fabrication, aircraft manufacturing and tool engineering, product engineering, advanced programs and technology development, and aircraft fleet modification.

Mr. Schwarz specializes in the development and deployment of strategic initiatives: NCO, systems engineering, project management, affordability; systems engineering: architecture development, applications, management and control, processes and metrics; project management: manufacturing, affordability, enhancements, aircraft modifications, technology development; program management: process management, IMP/IMS, analysis and integration, program war room, and inter-component.

Mr. Schwarz is pursuing a PhD in systems architecting and engineering from the University of Southern California. He has an MBA in finance from Loyola Marymount University, and a BS in mechanical engineering from the University of Utah.
