Dawn Laurie

Dawn Laurie, owner of Dawn Laurie Design Inc., has been a long time collaborator with Klar Interior Design. She has worked as a designer in Calgary and Edmonton since graduating with Honors from the NAIT Interior Design Program in 1981. Her forte is creating beautiful and lasting retail and hospitality spaces, leaving her stamp on some notable projects in the Edmonton area. One of her most recent accolades was that her design of Crowley’s Jewellers in Kingsway Mall was the back drop for “Best Display-Original Design”, North America, awarded at a recent event hosted by Tacori in Los Angeles.

Dawn is a very creative designer with exceptional drawing, drafting and rendering capabilities. Some of her renderings have been framed as gifts for clients. She continues to pass on this knowledge by teaching courses in the Residential Interior Program offered at the University of Alberta, Faculty of Extension. Her experience and skill-set has made her a vital member of the Klar team.
