David Pyke

Biography

David Pyke is a professor of operations and supply chain management at the University of San Diego's Knauss School of Business. He was dean of the School of Business from 2008 until 2015, leading the school to a significant presence in international rankings.

Formerly, he was a professor of operations and associate dean at the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth College. Professor Pyke has published numerous academic research papers. His book, Inventory and Production Management in Supply Chains, co-authored with E. A. Silver and D. Thomas (fourth edition, CRC Press, 2017) is used in numerous Master’s and Ph.D. programs worldwide.

He has consulted for WD-40, Accenture, Corning, Eaton and Home Depot, among others. He serves as a director of Concept NREC.
