Globis University Graduate School of Management
David Williams is the founder and lead digital strategist of Global Digital Mojo, Adjunct Professor at the School of Design of Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and Visiting Professor of National Yunlin Technology University, Taiwan. He holds a PhD in Cognitive Psychology and has over 20 years of experience in commercial digital experience innovation.
Following senior product design positions with Motorola Mobile, Nuance Communications, and Razorfish, he went to Shanghai to co-found Asentio Design in 2006. Asentio was one of China's first international research-to-design digital product studios. Following 4 years of rapid growth, Asentio was acquired by a US client in 2009.
Sensing an opportunity in the digital communications space, he founded Global Digital MOJO (globaldigitalmojo.com) in Hong Kong. This international digital agency redefines communication strategies and product experiences, applying machine learning, new media and interactive experiences to projects and services around the world. MOJO also creates its own SAAS products under the METAXR, COGNIAI and @Connect brands. MOJO has studios around the world including Japan.
Driven by incessant curiosity and a multidisciplinary vision, David speaks 5 languages and has lived or worked in over 20 countries. He also has teaching and commercial relationships with 10 universities around Asia and Europe. He sees the harmony of voices from the arts, science, engineering, and business; along with the melding Eastern and Western traditions, as the DNA of successful 21st-century businesses.
David also works with education-related NGOs and social businesses to deliver social change through creativity.
He spends his time between sea, mountain, and airport in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Kyoto.
