CEO at Mountain Equipment Co-op
My experience and deep interests:
I am based in: Vancouver
I am the Chief Executive Officer of Mountain Equipment Co-op, Canada’s leading outdoor retailer.
I bring both passion for outdoor adventure and extensive business experience to my position. My career started in product design and has, over the past 30 years, included product development, retail management and strategic planning with companies such as Adidas, a Marks and Spencer affiliate in S.A. and Aritzia in Canada.
I am MEC’s first CEO to have been appointed from within the 42-year-old organization. In my former capacity as the Senior Manager of Buying and Design, I was instrumental in leading the renaissance of MEC-brand products as well as product sustainability initiatives.
I enjoy a range of activities in the outdoors including backcountry skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, and kite-surfing.
