David Eccles School of Business

David Hunsaker is a fourth-year management Ph.D. student at the David Eccles School of Business. His research focuses on emotion expression during negotiation, particularly as it pertains to relational outcomes like subjective value, rather than just economic outcomes. His dissertation pertains to differential levels of anger expression and how those levels of anger can lead to diverse positive and negative negotiation outcomes. Additionally, David has work in the areas of apology, fairness, ethics and overconfidence. He is also proficient in BeGaze eye-tracking software, which he has used in conjunction with his negotiation research. David has taught Principles of Management (MGT 3000) and Human Behavior in Organizations (MGT 3680) in the Eccles School. He has also been a teaching assistant for many sections of MBA-level negotiations and teams courses. Before coming to the Eccles School, he worked as a consultant and as a data/assessment specialist. David has high proficiency in Mandarin, Chinese. Download CV
