The Wharton School

David's special interests are group and intergroup relations. From 1977 to 1992, he was a professor at the Yale School of Organization and Management (SOM), where he taught courses in organizational behavior, group dynamics, and organizational diagnosis. In 1990, he received the SOM Alumni Award for Excellence in Teaching.

In 1992, David opened a private practice in organizational psychology, continuing his work as a consultant and as a teacher in executive programs. He has consulted for a wide variety of organizations, including Fortune 500 companies, municipalities, notforprofit foundations, and public school systems. He has written several articles and books. In addition, he was deputy editor of the Journal of Applied Behavioral Science from 1994 through 2004, and formerly served on the editorial boards of both the Journal of Management Inquiry and the Journal of Management Education.

David received his BA in Psychology and MA in Administrative Sciences from Yale University, as well as both an MA and a PhD in Psychology from the University of Michigan.
