Biography
Daniel Yarsky joined Moore Capital Management Credit Product Trading team as Director of Credit Research in October 2012. Prior to joining Moore, Mr. Yarsky spent nine years at Morgan Stanley working on the Special Situations Trading Desk as Executive Director and Head of Research for the Group. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, he was a junior Portfolio Manager and Credit Analyst at Darmel Management LLC. Between 2001 and 2002, Mr. Yarsky was an Analyst in the Distressed Debt and Special Situations Team at Elliott Associates. He spent two years at Morgens, Waterfall, Vintiadis and Co, Inc as an Associate in the Distressed Debt Portfolio Group. He started his career at Peter J. Solomon Company Limited as a Financial Restructurings and Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst. Mr. Yarsky holds a Bachelor of Science (with Honors) in Applied Mathematics from Columbia University, and also an MBA (with Honors) also from Columbia University.
