Dan Newmeyer

I completed my Doctor of Management at Case Western Reserve University, Weatherhead School of Management in May of 2019. The Doctor of Management is beyond the MBA and has intensively focused studies in not only solving managerial problems, but also in rigorous theory and methodological tool building to generate knowledge, invention, and innovation. My research focuses on the impact of Health Care reform and the impact these changes will have upon healthcare business models. Further, how will changes within the business models be integrated and adopted by management, and subsequently disseminated to the various levels throughout healthcare institutions. My dual degrees in Business Administration and Nursing provides a diverse knowledge and background highlighted with exceptional customer service and communication skills. Currently, within the Pediatric Emergency Department of Akron Children's Hospital, my goal is to provide an exceptional level of care to my patients' and their family.
