Lecturer -- Masters of Social Work Program

Biography

-

I am a seasoned mental health counselor who spends time getting to know you in a comfortable style of conversation, focusing on your strengths and optimizing what you do right. It is my philosophy that mental health counseling be short term at punctuated times in your life -- our sessions will be solutions focused on your current issues.

You may see me for a few sessions and return to me again in the future. It is important for you to know that I understand biology as an important part of wellness and will work with your internist and/or psychiatrist in your care. Any time seeing a therapist takes courage. Being open to talk with some one takes time and practice. Our conversations are confidential and without judgement. My job is easy in that you are coming to me because you want to be somewhere different in your life. I am here to help you find that path.

In order to live the fullest life possible we must all evolve. Engaging mental health counseling is a personal process of evolution. "An unexamined life is not worth living" - Socrates
