Biography
-
I am a down to earth, engaging psychologist who believes that people are shaped by their relationships and life experiences. I work to create a safe haven where we can explore your difficulties and find ways to improve your life. Previously, I served as the Director of Clinical Services at the William Alanson White Institute and taught at Fordham.
Before becoming a psychologist I was a senior level investment banker at a Wall Street firm. This background helped me to develop the pragmatic approach that I bring into my work as a psychotherapist. Moreover, it gives me an understanding of workplace issues and dynamics that is unique among psychotherapists.
After receiving a doctorate and interning at St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital (Mount Sinai West), I pursued four years' additional intensive training at the William Alanson White Institute. While this training was not required for licensure, because of it I am better able to understand and serve the needs of my clients.
