Kelley School of Business
Courtney J Salati (Mickunas) has more than 15 years of HR business partner and talent management experience within highly matrixed, global companies such as General Electric, Ingersoll Rand, and Roche. Her passion is empowering high-capacity individuals and teams to live deliberately and to lead inspirationally. Her goal is to help leaders leave a legacy. With an extensive background in leadership development and organizational design, Courtney is a highly effective catalyst for transformation and growth for both executives and leadership teams globally.
Courtney’s leadership development work has spanned 20+ countries across a variety of industries (including consumer products, manufacturing, advertising, pharmaceuticals, not-for-profits, diversified industrials, financial and other consulting agencies). A sample list of her leadership development work includes multiple redesigns of performance management (including removing performance ratings), designing leadership competency models and leadership scorecards/metrics, designing and leading global high-potential action-learning leadership programs as well as individually coaching hundreds of leaders over the years, ranging from front line supervisors to CEOs. Courtney led talent management for a $2B+ organization and has been on both sides of the leadership development equation as both a client and as a consultant.
Courtney is a graduate of GE’s HR Leadership Program, has worked and lived abroad, is Six Sigma Green Belt Certified, and has served as an adjunct instructor in the MBA Program at Butler University. Courtney holds a master’s degree in human resources and industrial relations from the University of Illinois and a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Purdue University. Courtney is certified in Gallup StrengthsFinder®, Hogan Suite of Assessments and Personnel Decisions International PROFILOR® 360 and uses a variety of additional tools and methods to help leaders, teams, and individuals maximize their impact.
