Imperial College London

Royal College of Art Clare Brass is a designer and trainer with product design background and expertise in using societal and environmental issues as drivers for innovation. She set up and runs SustainRCA, a trans-disciplinary training unit whose aim is to embed sustainability across the Royal College of Art. Through this role she works with a variety of commercial clients to develop circular economy solutions to global challenges using design thinking. She is sustainability advisor for the Innovation Design Engineering Programme at the RCA, driving sustainability as a core criterion of the Programme and bringing together design and business students to embed design-led approaches to business development. Beyond SustainRCA Clare works with various organisations and business schools, bringing design and sustainability thinking to their work through teaching and coaching. She is a skilled business coach, helping young entrepreneurs turn their concepts into believable, sustainable propositions, and supporting businesses in achieving environmental change.
