Claire is an actor, educator, SAFD Certified Teacher, and works as a fight director and intimacy choreographer. She began studying stage combat in 2000 and became a member of the Society of American Fight Directors in 2003. In 2016 she became a Certified Teacher with the SAFD. Claire has taught stage combat throughout the Chicagoland area, at regional workshops around the United States, and at the SAFD National Stage Combat Workshop. She began teaching theatre as an adjunct professor in 2008 at Elgin Community College. In 2009 she started at College of DuPage where she's taught courses in stage combat, acting, and improvisational acting.

She works as a fight d​​irector in Chicago and the surrounding area and has choreographed violence for Buffalo Theatre Ensemble, Williams Street Rep, Aston Rep Theatre Company, Interrobang Theatre Project, Oil Lamp Theatre, New American Folk Theatre, WildClaw Theatre, The Comrades Theatre, Red Tape Theatre, Janus Theatre, Piccolo Theatre, Metropolis Performing Arts, Steelbeam Theatre, Bard in the Burbs, Wheaton Drama, and at various colleges and universities. In 2011, Claire received a Joseph Jefferson nomination in theatrical specialization in Fight choreography for her work on Red Tape Theatre's production of The Love of the Nightingale. She's an ensemble member with Interrobang Theatre Project and is the SAFD regional representative for the Great Lakes Region.
