Biography

KTH Executive School

I live on a small island in the Baltic Sea, the size of Manhattan but with only 250 inhabitants, and work as a Program Director at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm where I am responsible for leadership and change. I lecture and I do some research on freshwater issues, see my 2017 study on water challenges on 8 small islands in Europe.

Three years ago, I published a book called “How to Read an Island” followed by a Swedish version in 2015: “Hur man läser av en ö”. I tried to show how people can be creative together, addressing real, actual challenges.

I find small beautiful, I grow my own potatoes and my workplace is where I lay my hat, which often is traveling between cities and islands on ferries – a large part of the life of an islander.

I lecture and I do some research on freshwater issues, see my 2017 study on water challenges on 8 small islands in Europe, followed by my present study on 7 small islands in the Baltic Sea
