Chris Ferguson is an internationally recognized expert in service design and design strategy. As the founder of Bridgeable, North America’s largest and most awarded service design firm, Chris leads a highly skilled multi-disciplinary team delivering projects to corporate, NGO and government clients.
He works with organizations to connect deep human insight with integrated, value-generating customer experiences. Chris has worked across multiple sectors which include healthcare, pharmaceuticals, financial services, telecommunications, consumer goods and government on service and organizational design projects.
Chris has published and presented internationally, including 5 articles in Touchpoint, the peer-reviewed industry journal for Service Design and was an editor for the book This is Service Design Doing and the Annual Global Service Design Report. He is on the advisory boards for the FCAD Design Network, Leap Dialogues, MaRS Technology Procurement by Co-design and The World Design Summit.
Regular presenter and writer on service and experience design, Chris’s work appeared in the Globe and Mail, Touchpoint Journal, Marketing Professionals, Global News, and the CBC. He has lectured at York University, OCADU, Simon Fraser University, University of Victoria and he currently teaches design in the Faculty of Business at the Rotman School of Management and the Law School at the University of Toronto.
Founder of the Canadian chapter of the Service Design Network, Chris has won numerous awards. His work at Bridgeable has received the GOOD Design award, NeoCon Award, the Humanitarian International Design Organization Award and the Global Service Design Award for Commercial work.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Entrepreneurship from the Royal Roads University, and a master’s degree in Restoration of natural systems, systems science and theory from the University of Victoria.
