Biography

Chekfoung is Associate Professor in Transformation Leadership in the Technology Management Group at UCL's Mullard Space Science Laboratory. She is a practice-oriented academic with a decade of academic and industrial experience in technology project management, digital solution development, and business-IT consulting. She has a PhD in Informatics, where the research contributes to improving information management practice and managing the IT application portfolio of a UK hospital. Some of her research projects in collaboration with the industry include a knowledge management solution for a global non-profit organisation that increases operational efficiencies and an application rationalisation instrument for a local council in the UK that contributed to cost-saving. Chekfoung is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, a certified TOGAF enterprise architect from The Open Group, and a certified project manager from the Association of Project Management (APM) and PRINCE2.

Research summary

Research interests include sustainability in Space 4.0, circular economy, application of socio-technical theories in technology adoption, and digital transformation.
