Background

Chad Zipfel is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Finance. Prior to becoming a fulltime faculty member, Chad was an adjunct professor in Spring 2018.

He joins Fisher with more than a decade of progressive finance leadership experience in the Corporate space. Most recently as Senior Director, he led the turnaround of The Oneida Group out of bankruptcy: rebuilding a new Finance organization, reducing $10M of inventory, enacting more than $8M of price increases, reducing SG&A by $5M, and refinancing the Company’s term loan and ABL revolver.

Outside of the classroom, Chad is supporting the startup of the Honors Finance program, is an active member on the Honors Cohort Advisory Council, and is a STEP Faculty Mentor. Prior to that, Chad served as Board Chair at 4 Paws for Ability, a leading service dog nonprofit.
