Cécile Falcon's trajectory is marked by a dual vocation, educational and artistic.

A former student of the École Normale Supérieure on rue d'Ulm, a graduate of Sciences-Po Paris, agrégation in modern literature, a doctorate in theater studies, she has been teaching theater history since 2005, first at university. Rennes 2 and at the École Normale Supérieure on rue d'Ulm, then, since 2012, at the National Conservatory of Dramatic Art.

In parallel with her taste for transmission, she pursues a career in theatrical creation. After training as an actress and singing lessons, she became an assistant director, artistic collaborator or playwright with J acques Lassalle ( Les ​​Papiers d'Aspern , Henry James, Comédie-Française, Théâtre du Vieux-Colombier, 2003 The Beast in the Jungle , Henry James, Théâtre de la Madeleine, 2004), Bérangère Bonvoisin ( The Sickness of Death , Duras, Théâtre de la Madeleine, 2006), Marcel Bozonnet ( Orgy , Pasolini, Comédie-Française, Théâtre du Vieux-Colombier, 2007-2008), and Sulayman Al Bassâm ( Ritual for a metamorphosis, Saadallah Wannous, Comédie-Française, Salle Richelieu, 2013)

In 2013 , she founded the company Se non è vero in Chambon-sur-Lignon (Haute-Loire), and, in 2015, the theater festival Après la neige between Haute-Loire and Ardèche.

Since 2014, she regularly participates in the festival of Lectures under the tree and notably interprets the texts of the poets Jean-Pierre Siméon, Jean-Marie Barnaud, or authors like Mariette Navarro.

She also plays in the company's creations, directed by Xavier Maurel: in 2014 , a reading-show entitled Les Enfants de Juillet (Place of Memory in Chambon-sur-Lignon) and Un jour vienne color d'orange , a Cabaret of the Resistance made up of poems and songs by Aragon, Éluard, Char, accompanied by the musician Thomas Dalle. In 2015 , she performed in L'Intervention de Victor Hugo, then in Je suis une chose qui pense , a theater/dance/video solo based on the Metaphysical Meditationsby Rene Descartes. The show, created at the Théâtre 95 in Cergy-Pontoise, was revived in 2016 at the Théâtre de la Reine Blanche, Arts and Sciences Stage, in Paris.

In 2017 , she wrote and directed Écrire Carmen , an adaptation of the short story by Mérimée, at the Théâtre d'Yssingeaux. The show is taken on tour in Haute-Loire in 2018, played in Puy-en-Velay and Langeac, then in 2019, it is taken up at the National Theater of Marseille-La Criée. The play is published in 2020 by Éditions de l'École de guerre, in support of Le Bleuet de France.

In 2021 she writes, directs and performs Media Vita .

She also has a background in contemporary dance. Under the direction of choreographer Caroline Marcadé, she notably danced in Move , created in November 2015 at the National Conservatory of Dramatic Art.
