Catherine Lewis La Torre

A highly analytical, business multilingual, Investment Professional with a wealth of operational expertise in both established and start up Fund Management companies, focused on SMEs. Graduated with first class honours from the London School of Economics, gained early analytical research and investment experience with Venture Economics and CINVEN in London before taking up a key role as Marketing Director for the EVCA in Brussels. Then spent several years as a Consultant with the Merchant Bank, SOFIPA, in Rome and Milan. In 1998 co-founded Nordic Fund Manager, Proventure Private Equity which was acquired by EQ Asset Management in 2007. Founded GEM Consulting in Zurich the same year delivering two key projects before being headhunted by Fondinvest Capital in Paris in 2009 continuing as a Partner/MD there between 2009-2014. Relocated to London in 2015 before being appointed as Head of Private Equity at Cardano Risk Management.
