Biography

Casper Lassenius is an Associate Professor of Software Engineering in the Computer Science Department of the School of Science at Aalto University. Casper’s research focuses on modern software processes and quality assurance, in particular scaling agile and lean software development to large and distributed contexts.
Casper leads the Software Process research group at Aalto University. Conducting empirical software engineering research together with his students, Casper has worked collaboratively with a wide variety of companies, including Ericsson, F-Secure, IBM, Nokia, Tieto, and a large number of smaller firms.
Casper received his doctorate and M.Sc. degrees from Helsinki University of Technology.
