Casey Marks

Casey Marks founded and continues to run CarveAcre, which provides consulting services in machine learning, statistics, data architecture and software engineering. He previously worked in roles as a scientist and engineer at four startups and as a freelance software engineer. His work has spanned many fields including health care, genomics, psychometrics, finance and cybersecurity. He has also taught calculus and computer programming at the high school level.

Marks earned a Ph.D. in computer science and a bachelor’s degree in applied mathematics at Brown University. For his dissertation, he researched the connection between online learning algorithms and game theoretic equilibria.
