Casey Huckel joined the Wildcats' staff as a Volunteer Assistant Coach in the spring of 2015.

A native of Philadelphia who holds an undergraduate degree from La Salle University and a graduate degree from Ohio University, Huckel brings coaching and scouting experience at the college and professional level to Villanova.

Huckel served as an assistant coach at Saint Joseph's University and Chestnut Hill College before being named head coach at Chestnut Hill College, a position he held prior to joining the Wildcats in the spring.

In addition, Huckel brings professional scouting expertise to Villanova, having worked for the Portland Timbers and Sporting Kansas City of Major League Soccer as well as for the Reading United.

In his current capacity, Huckel assists the program in all areas with an emphasis on opponent scouting and video analysis.
