Dr Caroline Law obtained her PhD in The University of Hong Kong with the study entitled “Dynamics of urban green spaces: assessing, analyzing and modeling spatiotemporal changes in Shenzhen, China”, which focused on the changes of green space in landscape scale and its ecological implications. Before joining THEi, she worked in a botanic garden where developed her research interest on the utilization of native plant species as important components in ecologically sound urban landscape. She is also interested in how to transform manicured green roofs and vertical greenery into naturalized and biodiverse hotspots with low maintenance need. Recently, she looks into the yard waste recycling and utilization in Hong Kong.
