Biography

Caroline is a Senior Lecturer in Empirically Sound Software Engineering in the School of Computer Science. She is qualified as both a Psychologist (BA, CPsychol) and Computer Scientist (MSc, PhD), and undertakes research crossing these domains. She is a Fellow of the Software Sustainabilty Institute, and a keen advocate for open and reproducible science.

She is currently leading the ''Data Science Meets Creative Media'' project, a large-scale networking activity between the University and the BBC, funded by the University of Manchester Research Institute and BBC Research & Development.

Caroline is a member of Senate, and has been an elected representative of Senate on the University of Manchester Board of Governors since 2013.
