USC Marshall School of Business
Carolin Fleischmann specializes in research topics at the intersection of business communication and international management. She is particularly interested in how firms support their internationalization processes by digital media communication, how multicultural virtual teams communicate using advanced digital communication platforms, and how multiple forms of diversity influence relationships of power. Prior to joining USC, Carolin Fleischmann taught International Management and Intercultural Communication in Germany, France, Spain, and China. She previously served as Acting Chair for the Department of International Management at the University of Bamberg, Germany. Her professional experiences include consulting projects on global strategy, foreign market entry, intercultural communication, team communication, and organizational learning.
