Carol Carpenter

Carol is VP of Product Marketing for Google Cloud Products (GCP, G Suite and Chrome), Influencer Relations, Content & Social and Customer Insight. Her team is the bridge between Product, Sales, Marketing, and our customers; they provide deep customer and market insight to define product and solution messaging and strategy, amplify narratives, and drive go to market. Prior to joining Google in Jan 2017, Carol was CEO of ElasticBox, an early cloud management platform, which she sold to CenturyLink in 2016. She’s held a variety of senior leadership positions at technology companies like TrendMicro, ClearSlide, and Apple. She is a self-proclaimed geek with a passion for technology and solving customer problems. Carol grew up in West Virginia and is a proud Mountaineer! She has a BA from Stanford University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
