Biography

Campbell is a senior associate in the firm’s international arbitration practice based in New York, where he specialises in advising on complex, multi-jurisdictional disputes.

He practices both investment and commercial arbitration, and has experience advising on disputes under the HKIAC, LCIA, ICC, UNCITRAL and ICSID Rules, as well as in national courts. Campbell's work spans a broad range of industry sectors, jurisdictions, and applicable laws.

Prior to joining Freshfields, Campbell practiced in the Cayman Islands, in the London office of another international law firm, and at a leading New Zealand law firm. He serves on the Editorial Board of the International Arbitration Law Review, and is an Adjunct Professor at the City University of Hong Kong School of Law.

Campbell is admitted to practice law in New York, England & Wales (solicitor advocate (civil)), the Cayman Islands and New Zealand, and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
