Biography

Burcu Yalçınkaya started their work experience in 1995 as a Financial Analyst at Pamukbank. Burcu then moved on to QNB Finansbank (formerly Finansbank) in 1998, where they worked for 11 years in various credit allocation departments and held the position of Vice President for Corporate, Commercial, SME Credits Allocation. Their responsibilities included evaluating and presenting credit proposals from 100 branches and managing corporate customer credit limits.

In 2010, Burcu joined the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management as a Banking Expert. Burcu then worked as a Trainer at Tim Eğitim ve Danışmanlık for a brief period in 2012.

From 2012 onwards, Burcu founded and worked at Kredi Akademi Eğitim Danışmanlık, where they served as a Founder, Trainer, and Consultant. Their role involved providing credit business and finance-based trainings, as well as developing and conducting a simulation-based Credit Analysis and Evaluation Training program called "Kepsim™" for the banking sector. Burcu trained over 2000 people in the banking business.

Lastly, Burcu Yalçınkaya co-founded Lukwise in 2018 and continues to work there in the role of Co-Founder.

Burcu Yalçınkaya completed their education from 1984 to 1991 at the TED Ankara Koleji. Burcu then pursued their higher education at the Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi (Middle East Technical University) from 1991 to 1995, where they earned an Honour degree in Management. In addition, they obtained a certification in Gamification from Coursera in April 2014.
