Dr. Bryan Shelly is the Coordinator of Research and Evaluation at Chesterfield County (VA) Public Schools. His research focuses on federalism & intergovernmental relations, public education, and political socialization. His work has also appeared in Publius: the Journal of Federalism, Educational Policy, and the Journal of Political Science Education. He holds a Ph.D. from Princeton University and and has been an Assistant Professor at Wake Forest University and Data Strategist with the Cleveland Metropolitan School District and the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
