Current Position and Past Experience

Bryan Blakeley is currently Assistant Vice Provost for Digital Learning Innovation at the University of Washington Continuum College. Prior to UW, he was at Boston College for 10 years, most recently as Executive Director of the Center for Digital Innovation in Learning. His background includes leading academic technology, instructional design, and project management units, in addition to teaching history at the college level.

Education, Honors and Achievements

Blakeley holds a PhD in Education from Boston College. His dissertation focused on organizational change among faculty units as a result of online education. He also holds a Master of Arts in History from Boston College and a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from Wheaton College (IL).
