Bruno Teboul

(Jean-Claude) Bruno Teboul, who joined the DePaul faculty in 1992, is an expert in organizational communication. His principal research and teaching interests include organizational assimilation and learning, small group communication, and communication in multicultural organizations.

He has published in Management Communication Quarterly, The Howard Journal of Communications, Communication Research Reports, The International and Intercultural Communication Annual, Western Journal of Communication and Communication Theory. His most recent publications include an article on foreign language myths in the workplace and a piece examining relationship development processes in organizations.

Teboul served as interim dean in 2013-2014, and before that, he was an associate dean for the College of Communication responsible for managing the college schedule, the course bulletin and catalog, online teaching evaluations, and he has served as director of adjunct faculty. He also has chaired the college tenure and promotion personnel committee for the better part of the last decade.

A native of France, Teboul received his BA in international relations from the Universidade do Minho, Portugal, in 1985. In 1986, he moved to the U.S. to pursue graduate work in communication. He received his MA and PhD in communication in 1988 and 1992, respectively, from The Ohio State University.​​
