Biography

Bruce Sarte has served as the Director of Information Technology at Cedar Crest College since June of 2016. Bruce has worked in educational technology for over 25 years, serving in both K-12 and higher education. Bruce has worked in various roles from a consulting with schools, to Help Desk Manager in higher education and architecting networks for educational institutions of all sizes and needs with an eye on security and usability.

Mr. Sarte has a Master’s of Information Technology in Project Management from American Public University, a Masters of Arts in American History from American Public University, a Bachelor's of Arts in History and a Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Science from Temple University.

He holds certifications from Microsoft, Apple, CompTIA, is the author of five published novels, a high school level computer science textbook and holds seminars on online safety for teens and parents.
