Biography

Boston University

Brian Sirman is a professor of architecture within the College of Arts & Sciences’ Writing Program. He is also a Boston University alumni, having received his B.A., M.L.A., and Ph.D. from Boston University in History, Interdisciplinary Studies, and American and New England Studies (respectively).

Sirman’s scholarship focuses on 20th-century architecture and urbanism.

Currently, he is writing a book about the architectural history of Boston’s New City Hall.
